Classic Goostree CG Bit
One of the first bit’s Carol Goostree designed. She developed this bit especially for her champion mount “Dobre” in the late seventies. The chain snaffle mouthpiece & short gag action make this bit soft & forgiving in a horse’s mouth. Horses tend to feel comfortable in this bit & show a lot of response without overreacting. It helps add control in the turns, & support & correct an overly bendy horse. The CG’s 5 1/2” weighted shanks add more feel & encourages a proper headset.
